50 Things About Me
1. With the exception of one year and the past four months, I lived my life exclusively in Ohio.
2. I met my boyfriend online 10 years ago.
3. I met him face-to-face in April 2004.
4. I consider salads one of the 4 vegetables I will eat.
5. I have two sisters.
6. I have five nieces, and one nephew.
7. I have smoked since I was 16.
8. I've kept a paper journal since I was 8.
9. I turned 29 in 2004.
10. I was once paid $5 for a poem I had published in a high school literary magazine.
11. I've been trying to get paid for my writing ever since.
12. My first concert was Depeche Mode with Nitzer Ebb when I was 14.
13. My mom took my sister and I to that show.
14. My behavior was similar to what you'd see at an N'Sync show.
15. I have a Bachelor's degree in Criminology, with a minor in History.
16. I think I'm a geek.
17. I am severely allergic to cats and dogs.
18. I don't like animals or pets at all.
19. I don't like being in houses that smell like "animal," be they cats, dogs, birds, whatever.
20. I generally don't smoke indoors (unless I'm in a bar or restaurant).
21. I didn't learn how to drive until I was 23.
22. I watch too much Court TV.
23. I could (and have) watch the History Channel for hours on end.
24. I have 2 best friends, one from high school, and one from college.
25. I carry a camera virtually everywhere I go.
26. An ex-boyfriend used to mock me because I like to take pictures of almost everything.
27. I have almost as many photo albums as I do journals.
28. My favorite dessert is Tiramisu.
29. I have started to do Pilates in order to (hopefully) drop a couple pounds.
30. I work in banking.
31. I have about 6 pairs of flannel pajama bottoms that I wear year-round.
32. I love flannel sheets in winter.
33. I hate feeling obligated to do something.
34. I plan on visiting Italy at some point in my lifetime.
35. I also plan on visiting Scotland--With my mom.
36. I have never been able to travel as much as I would like to.
37. I tend to get very jealous about petty things.
38. I don't like going barefoot.
39. I can't swim.
40. In the 14 years I've been in the work force, 7 of those years have been in fast food.
41. My favorite movie of all time is Raiders of the Lost Ark.
42. My favorite book of all time is The Catcher in the Rye.
43. My favorite song of all time is "Tainted Love" by Soft Cell.
44. I have four favorite bands: The Velvet Underground, Crowded House, Nirvana, and the Replacements.
45. Crowded House is the only one of those bands I've ever gotten to see in concert.
46. The only piercings I have are on my ears.
47. I have no tattoos--Yet.
48. The only foreign countries I've ever been to are England, Ireland, and Wales.
49. I would like to drink more wine.
50. I think I spend too much time online.
